Dailypostmail has covered various aspects of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee elections in its  opinion survey which shows that :
Q . (A) Either Management of Gurudwara’s should be given in the hands of Delhi (Local)based groups or Punjab’s politically sponsored  groups ?
Survey : In this matter survey reveals the figures that more than 65%  localhites (Delhi residents/voters) are  in the favor of Sarna (SAD Delhi) group considering them as locals, on the other hand 30% voters shows interest in Shiromani akali Dal Badal  as outsiders.
Remaining percentage also is a deciding factor for both of the contesting parties as if they associate with or supporting a winning candidate, will also be a major factor in the DSGMC Polls 2013.
Q (B)  Allegations are in the air, that Sarna group is directly supported by ruling Congress in Delhi , and SAD-Badal are being labeled as agents of RSS ?
Survey : Issue pertaining a major factor for shiromani akali dal badal of Being a part of RSS, is creating a setback in the mind of voters .. being a Sikh community where SAD (Badal) is seeking votes on the name of Religion , SAD (Delhi)headed by Sarna’s  is facing trouble with the allegations for getting support from congress .  It is to be considered here that Punjab’s ruling party Shiromani akali Dal is having an alliance with BJP in their own state .

Q (C ) How  female voters  can play an effective role  in Delhi Gurudwara elections   ?
Survey : Female voters will also be a decisive factor in this elections,  as the mind set up of female voters is that so called outsider group Badal’s is indulging in supply of intoxicants etc. to fetch their voters .
Q.(D) Sehajdhari Sikh party has also opposed the SAD-Badal  in this election.
Survey : Though the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Act 1971 does not hold any particular place in definition for the Sehajdhari Sikhs in this election but still adhering to the definition of Sikh under section 2(n) of the Act 1971  there is no parameter with the Gurudwara Election Commission to measure the depth of unshorn hairs of the so-called Sikh voters.

Hence the voters who are not baptized will definitely fall under the category of Sehajdhari Sikhs and majority of the female voters will be affecting the polls.
Q.(E)  Will the past Gurudwara violence incidents effect in this elections too?
Survey : Gurudwara fighting violence shall reflect negative for the Sarna group as 70% Sikh voters condemn this act in religious institution, this factor will also help SAD- Badal in this elections.
People are losing interest in elections, and it will give a lower percentage of the voters but it is mention able  here that there are chances of still a Major poll percentage in this year’s DSGMC elections as compared to the previous year’s.
It can go up to 30-40% polling and if the  polling percentage rises that can favor the chances of  winning  for SAD- Badal or otherwise low poll percentage shall favor winning   of the Sarna Group.
