CABINET PAY TRIBUTES TO AMARJIT SINGH SAHI FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICES
TWO-MINUTE SILENCE OBSERVED IN THE MEMORY OF DEPARTED SOUL
CHANDIGARH JUNE 07:
            The Punjab Cabinet today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad and untimely demise of BJP MLA from Dasuya and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Amarjit Singh Sahi who passed away last Sunday. 
The Council of Ministers chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal recalled Mr. Sahi’s remarkable services for the overall development and progress of the state in the cabinet meeting this morning.   
Sharing their heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, the Cabinet described him a popular mass leader, who believed in clean and value based politics.   The outstanding services rendered by him as a Chief Parliamentary Secretary for the all-round progress and prosperity of the state especially the Kandi area and the welfare of its people would be ever remembered by one and all.  
On the occasion, a two-minute silence was observed in the memory of late Mr. Sahi, praying Almighty to give strength and courage to the bereaved family members, friends and relatives to bear this irreparable loss and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
